Post creates scandal and outrage!
The last Chilly Hilly post elicited various comments from our esteemed members:

As the other notable absentee from this "presumed" trip, I concur and cite Bylaw 7, subsection 3.3.2 of the Virtual Bike Club's Constitution which clearly states:
Only those races which can not be reasonably or unreasonably missed for valid, semi-valid or lame excuses shall be attended and such attendance shall only be in the event that it is not possible to give all indications of having attended the event while not actually attending the event.
May we have the evidence please???
And if such evidence does exist, may I refer you to Bylaw 12, subsection 4.2.1 which states:
Those members that stay true to spirit of the Virtual Bike Club and avoid participation in an event that is attended by other (less honourable) members of the Virtual Bike Club shall be compensated in the form of free beer at the next Annual Meeting of the Virtual Bike Club. The expenses arising from this shall be borne by those members of the club attending said event.
I have nothing further to say on this matter.
