A report on the virtual bikers meeting July 1 Canada Day:
True to form, noone rode today (unless it was in secret). We gathered for a feast at Mike B's house and discovered the delights of gougere, and received an education on the tour de france.
On the agenda were items such as
1) why are we not riding in the tour de france?
(answer - we don't do doping)
2) why are some of us are not going to ride on Monday? (good excuses like soleus tears)
3) various good reasons why not to ride today (on call, too tired, errands, Canada day)
4) team uniforms - we want yellow shirts (someone might confuse us for tour leaders)
