Virtual biking taken to new extremes!
Lee Ann and Pierre stooped to new all-time lows this weekend, in the world of virtual biking. What was meant to be a gentle 5.5 km river-side ride, turned into a nightmare, as the path deteriorated to the extent that they ended up carrying their bikes almost the entire distance. Lee Ann has declared her mountain biking days over.
The only highlight was this shot taken overlooking the Cowichan River.
A word of advice for the future. The Trans-Canada trail is situated on the NORTH side of the river and road, and it is a pleasant gentle bike ride. The SOUTH side of the river is for maniacs who wish to carry their bikes miles. Don't do the Cowichan River trail from Skutz Falls on your bike!
