NEWS FLASH
Security forces from within the Virtual Bike Club have recently uncovered a plot to form a splinter group. At least two of the existing VBC members have begun to break the cardinal rule defining this elite club by ACTUALLY RIDING!!!!
While there is currently insufficient evidence to bring charges against these two suspected "riders", they have been tagged with small electronic chips and are under constant surveillance through Google Earth.
When asked about the potential of traiterous riders within the group Mike Rocheleau (with a puzzled frown) said: "You mean some members actually have bikes?" He went on to observe that "all that riding must be hard. Why would they do that?".
Fellow member Scott MacInnis was agahst when advised that a spinter group might be operating with the hallowed halls of virtual biking. His initial reaction was "while I'll be a monkey's uncle". However shortly after uttering this, he refused any "offical comment" raising suspicion that he might actually be considering shifting his allegiance to this new splinter group despite a proud and long standing history of only ever talking about biking.
Neither Pierre Dil nor Michael Boissevant were available for comment. Their wives said they were "just out somewhere". Hmmmmm.
Renaat Marchand and Chris Boissevant have long been known to flaunt the Charter of the VBC and have had nuuerous previous encounters with the VBC Disciplinary Board.
Around the world people are praying for a speedy and unenergetic solution to this crisis.
