SHOCK WIN BY 3 CANADIANS AT CHILLY HILLY !

BY OUR SPORTS CORRESPONDENT

Press photographers grappled with fans to get a look at three virtual unknowns who grabbed first place (yes, they crossed the line together) at the world renowned cycling meet on Bainbridge Island near Seattle this weekend. The 33 mile route attracted 4000 bikers and amazingly the trio led the pack throughout.

Belgian superstar Renaat credited his win to hot Mexican food the night before. Michael said there was never any doubt they would succeed, despite setbacks such as lack of riding shorts. Pierre was mainly concerned his bike got dirty and blamed the American organizers for a muddy course.

The date is set, the men are prepared, their wives are staying home. Just when you thought winter was safe for lying on the couch and eating potato chips, along came CHILLY HILLY.
Some scenes from last years race are shown below:

Michael B has been quoted as syaing "90 year olds can do the race". He ommitted to inform us that they were 40 when they started.

The Virtual Biker official team leaves February 24. Wish us luck - we may be gone a long time!
