Pierre D distinguishes himself in the bottom third of the pack at the Jan de fuca duathlon last week, and wonders why he bothers (it was fun). I have now decided that the top athletes in this race do not have a life, as they must spend their entire waking life running or biking. There's no other explanation for 65 year olds beating me, or is there? Next year I hope to progress to the middle of the pack!!
At least I won some cool chewing gum, and a power bar.
